Countless times I've found solutions on the net: I'll try to give back some, by sharing interesting things I'll come across.

Speeding up Torque connection
At connection time, Torque probes the bluetooth adapter for supported protocols.
You can speed up the discovery process by setting the OBD protocol in the veicle profile.
For Yaris Hybrid, the protocol is:
Its the same protocol for Gen2 Prisu (2003-2009). It is also recommended because this way you can avoid that the ESP / ABS and so on lights come on when you start torque before pressing the start button of the Prius
I think it's the same. It doesn't work? Try leaving "automatic" and then after connecting, go in Adapter Status from the main screen: you should see the correct protocol there. Try setting it that way.

ReplyDeleteActually, on the Yaris HSD no light will come up anyway.
DeleteNice to know, though.
